BACK TO PORTFOLIO
I met Rachel & Ryan over a phone consultation as they were driving from New York to Utah for a permanent move. Ryan was originally from Ottawa and so they decided to get married in his hometown. Surprisingly, they were already husband and wife after getting legally married in New York when the pandemic hit. They were happy to do most of the wedding planning work themselves but really needed help with vendor recommendations, design, and of course, wedding management. We helped them develop their design plan and incorporate certain aspects of their favourite sport - GOLF! We even got the opportunity to do their cake tasting for them which was really fun! Talk about trust, right? Wildly enough, I ended up going into labour the afternoon of their wedding and had my team take over the rest of the day in my absence. It was a full circle moment as we simultaneously stepped into a new chapter of our lives; this day will forever hold a special place in my heart.
